![]() ![]() Westerfeld, I think you should go for it. I wonder if Westerfeld has any plans to return to Tally and David’s story? Does she ever learn to deal with her past? It would make for an interesting story, Mr. I know that there is a fourth book Extras, but it supposedly deals with different characters. Tally’s story has an interesting ending, not necessarily one that I was suspecting or one that was wholly satisfying. It would be easy to let the future society do all the talking, with the characters just part of the scenery, but he does a good job making them realistic. I think it makes the world much more believable. Some people might be put off by Westerfeld’s invented slang, but I like it. ![]() ![]() Specials sees the return of most of the characters from the previous two books, and while I did not necessarily enjoy this book as much as Uglies, it was just as well-written and crafted. But, when a trick (a mission) goes bad, Tally must try to save her best friend and also come to terms with her new body and new thoughts, while still being preoccupied with the past.
